Coming Soon!

In true Murphy's law fashion, after my first post my laptop charging cord bit the dust! So, new cord is on the way and until then I'm not able to quite get my post ready in a way to satisfy my OCD nature. Now my impatience just needs to survive the wait! Hopefully, it should arrive in the next day or two!

So in the meantime, I wanted to let you know I'm still here and give you some info to look forward to in my upcoming posts.

In my next post I'll be listing some of the things that I feel are key to starting and maintaining your food preps. Food and water are two of the most crucial things to your preps and are great way to get started prepping!

The incident in West Virginia has really highlighted to me the need to step up our efforts in our water preps. I keep a few gallons of drinking water on hand as is and when weather poses threats to potential power outages or frozen pipes we also fill our bathtub with water for cleaning, flushing, and bathing.

However, in the WV incident, there was no warning or time to prep. I have some water sources on the property we live on but cannot only depend on these and need ways to still purify, transport, and store. After the upcoming food prepping posts I'll be focusing my efforts on water preps and sharing with you what we learn and our progress.

Until then, keep prepping! Everything you do today no matter how small or large just makes you that much more secure!
